Draw me a picture of one of the following answers written by other teens. I want you to respond to them with your artwork. It can be in crayon, pen, marker or even digital. It can be a stick figure, a cartoon or an elaborate graphic. Just be creative and have fun. If I use your drawing, I promise to give you credit in the book.

Who Are You? I am the thunderstorm after the sun; the pearl at the bottom of the ocean, waiting to be found. I am a tear held back by strength and the laugh that comes out instinctively. I am the wandering eye, the focused mind and the opinionated voice.
Whose arms do you fall into? I wish I had someone’s arms to fall into. Then maybe I would be different and not be that person that has to wear long sleeves just to avoid questions.
What is your weapon? My weapon is a fake smile. Whenever I'm upset and in school, I smile. I could be having the worst day ever and had a huge fight with someone, but I pretend like nothing happened. And then I go home and cry.
What are you afraid of? Being alone for the rest of my life.
Who do you miss the most? I miss the simple moments in life. I miss being sure. I miss the time when there wasn’t just this empty abyss. I miss the color blue in the box of crayons.  Parents who were super-heroes.  Watching the sky change colors as time passes by. I miss having the time to do that.
What is the miracle you are waiting for?

I am waiting to see the world in beauty. I am waiting to be apart of something wonderful. I am waiting to shed light onto another’s heart. I am waiting to fall in love.

When was the last time God spoke to you and what did He say?
It was a few weeks ago in my dreams. He said "I know you are a monster but you are a good monster.”
What does the emptiness inside feel like?
I feel this emptiness a lot, almost every day. It feels like I am a thin shell and I feel the wind and the air and everything flowing through me, like I’m utterly hollow.
What advice would you give to your parents?
Forget about who you want me to be and open your eyes to who I am. Love me as much as you say and think you do, even when I turn out different from what you expected.
What is your favorite childhood memory? It's not just one memory...because I do this as much as possible... on summer nights when it's raining-- pouring or real rain, not a stupid drizzle-- I'll stand outside barefoot, close my eyes, tilt my head back, and scream as loud as I can. That’s my favorite memory.
