Friends in Deed
Since 1991, this organization has helped transform many thousands of lives through its programs and services. They provide emotional support for anyone with a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS, cancer or other life-threatening physical illnesses… their family, friends, and caregivers... and anyone dealing with grief and bereavement.  All of their services are free of charge.

The Trevor Helpline is geared toward helping those in crisis or those wanting information on how to help someone in crisis. The Helpline calls are handled by highly trained counselors and are free and confidential.

This 24-hour/7 days per week hotline offers anonymous, confidential HIV/AIDS information including referrals to appropriate services, local hotlines, counseling and testing sites, etc. It is run by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The Names Project AIDS Memorial Quilt

Each sample of the top seven condoms held at least 25 liters of air before breaking, well above the minimum standard; studies show that a reliable predictor of how well the condom will hold up during use (though using it correctly may matter more). The Matthew Shepard Foundation
is a national non-profit 501c3 organization, founded in December 1998 by Dennis and Judy Shepard. It was established in memory of their 21-year old son, Matthew, who was murdered in an anti-gay hate crime in Laramie, Wyoming. The Foundation was created to honor Matthew in a manner that was appropriate to his dreams, beliefs and aspirations. Initial funds came from the many donations sent by people from all over the world in Matt’s memory to assist with his medical expenses. Matthew's family decided it was more important to use these donations in a foundation for the greater good of the community.
